STEM Volunteers will contribute to East End House’s School Age and Middle School Programs by connecting with children and youth during afterschool hours. As professionals or students from the STEM sector, STEM Volunteers will share their knowledge, interest, and work with young people.

Help the East End House administration by relieving receptionists, answering phones, performing data entry, and assisting with mass mailings.

Food Pantry Volunteers will assist in greeting consumers, helping consumers fill out forms, stocking food pantry, packing grocery bags, unpacking food deliveries, cleaning the pantry, and taking inventory.

Support a high school student in a specific subject area while forming a relationship and providing general academic guidance.

Read aloud and complete a provided lesson plan in this one-on-one program that aims to help club members in need of extra reading support.

Create a collaborative piece with youth, led by our Visual Arts Coordinator, that will be displayed at the West End House (or your office!).

Transform a room or space in the West End House, lending much-needed manpower to brighten a space or clean the facility. These experiences are offered on a limited basis and are often contingent upon weather.
