Coordinate the annual Girl Scout Cookie Program for your troop and guide girls as they learn entrepreneurial skills. Sign up for cookie booths, manage inventory and money, and then experience the girls’ excitement when they reach their individual and troop goals.

In partnership with the service unit team, and GSEMA Engagement team, the New Leader Mentor will provide local context, connections, information and support to new leaders.

Support and mentor a group or girls in a troop setting that incorporates the Girl Scout Leadership Experience; participate in Service Unit meetings and activities; work cooperatively with other volunteers and girls’ families.

Assist with driving, activity planning, snacks, money management, first aid, or other tasks necessary to keep the troop running smoothly.

On the other side of the phone call or text message, people who are isolated, desperate, or suicidal find a caring listener. These compassionate people are Befrienders: teens (15+), students, professionals, and retirees from a variety of cultural, educational, and religious backgrounds who volunteer their time for our 24/7 Crisis Services.

Our Grief Support Services volunteers have been personally impacted by a loss to suicide and are at a place in their own healing which allows them to help others as they travel a similar path after a tragic loss. These volunteers facilitate peer support groups and participate in home visits.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with events, including our 5K and Breakfast for Hope, intern in the development office, assist with administrative tasks, or contribute in other ways.

We are always looking for classroom tutors and volunteers to support English, Language Arts, and Math instruction, to lead English conversation classes, and to assist with computer classes.
