Housing Families hosts and participates in many fundraising and outreach events in the community every year. Volunteers are a big part of the success of these events. This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic but can’t make a long term commitment.

Volunteers help tutor students from our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes or students from our Adult Learning Initiative classes.

Wellspring’s Holiday Store program provides an opportunity for eligible low-income parents to shop by appointment for toys and gifts for their children. Volunteers can assist with the operations of the Holiday Store.

Volunteers assist with gardening and grounds keeping as needed.

Assist with our annual Women’s Luncheon and other events. Host a linen drive (new: towels, pillows, twin sheets, comforters, etc.) for families living in Wellspring’s shelter. Volunteer in the Awesome Closet, or host a professional clothing drive for our students entering the workforce.
