Generation Citizen teachers are middle or high school educators who either work alongside a college volunteer Democracy Coach or independently to lead action civics programming. If you’re a teacher, we would love to support you in exploring the potential of action civics for your classroom and for your students’ lives.

GC Democracy Coaches (DCs) are much more than college volunteers. DC’s are dedicated and energetic leaders who are committed to extending their learning and influence beyond their college campuses, as they spend a semester or more coaching students in utilizing their own voices to drive civic change.

Throughout the week, generous members of our community bring their new and gently used donations to our Dracut Distribution Center. Volunteers help sort through the many bags and boxes we receive, looking for any stains, rips, inappropriate messaging or style, and out-of-style clothing. Volunteers may also be asked to fold or hang items once processed.
