Volunteer to support our Boston Marathon Team throughout the season and on Marathon Day (January – May).
Serve as a classroom assistant or tutor in our Adult Basic Education or ESL program. 2 hours – Any Monday-Thursday 9 am – 2:30 pm.
Supply and assemble “Life Tool Kits” of living and educational supplies for Project Hope program participants.
Help Project Hope enhance our external communication and marketing.
Lend your expertise in web design to innovate our website.
In addition to program-specific volunteer opportunities, there are other tasks or projects volunteers can support with regard to facilities and administrative tasks. This includes facility improvements such as painting and landscaping or administrative tasks such as data entry and filing.
There are various 1:1 and small group (10-20) volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Activities are usually held during the program hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Some examples include small group tutoring, conversations with ESOL students to practice English skills, mock interviews, leading or assisting with social development groups, and more.
Runners help at our Information Tent with chair rentals and other tasks as needed.
Surveyors conduct surveys to determine who attends our concerts.
Ushers distribute programs and help count the number of concert attendees.
