| About us | Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit builder of affordable homes founded in 1985 by concerned local citizens who came together as volunteers. We are the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the largest non-profit homebuilder in the world with a network of over 2,100 affiliates. We build simple, affordable, comfortable homes in partnership with the families who need them. Habitat families get a hand up, not a hand out. They buy their homes from Merrimack Valley Habitat after they provide between 240 and 360 of “sweat equity hours” to build their own home and other families’ homes. |
